How to Tame Quarantine Hair: 101

Next Article Previous Article
Can we be real for a second? Our hair has been struggling through these quarantine days - from frizz to split ends, we could use some serious help and are missing our hairdressers a little extra. The phrase ‘you don’t know what you’ve got until it’s gone’ really rings true on this one. SO, since we really needed all the help we could get, we pulled together our four favorites that have been rescuing our locks (dramatic? Maybe...) through this time. Check out below which products are helping us tame the beast that is our hair. Oh, and seriously DM us if you have any other tips and tricks.

3 in 1 conditioner
Not sure how we would be surviving without this one. First of all it is extremely hydrating for our hair. Being cooped up has forced us to escape outside a lot more, down at the beach, at the pool, or cruising at the lake  and so we needed a little pick-me-up to give some added moisture to our hair and this is the ticket.  Oh, and it really helps the frizz chill out.

We have become major at-home ‘self-care’ peeps around here in quarantine but honestly only with things that are easy and don’t involve too much hassle. That’s where the hair mask has been our best friend. It doesn’t get much easier than just applying it, throwing your hair up in a bun and leaving it on while you binge watch, deep clean, make a Reel… you know, the usual things. This one is helping us really revitalize those ends that are struggling from so many top knots and hair ties.

What’s it got? Amla Extract Bamboo Extract, Coconut Oil, Banana Pulp and Peel, Banana Leaf, Quinoa Protein and Sunflower Seed Oil

We needed something to add to our ends that is hydrating, lightweight and adds some shine - which is why we grab our Coconut Argan Oil. This one is sweet to just put a couple pumps on your fingertips, throw on the ends & head out for your neighborhood walk. We are keepin’ it simple and tamed with this one. Plus, it smells like the vacation we were supposed to be taking right now...

If you’re like us, you haven’t brushed your hair in a few days (if you’re like Brock, months) - so we like to spray this in before combing or brushing through to make it a lot less painless. Knots don’t stand a chance. We like that it adds some extra hydration and shine between washes, too.

What’s it got? Kukui Nut Oil, Monoi Coconut Oil, Seaweed Protein
We hope these go-to’s help your hair out and make it feel a little more under control during this time when things seem to be out of our control. Let us know if you try them out and how you like ‘em :)

Stay safe & lots of love,
